LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

WE ARE TRAINING UP THE NEXT GENERATION OF CHANGE AGENTS IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We asked local companies in BiH to identify gaps in textbook education, and we responded by providing workshops on topics such as resume writing, team building, leadership, professional development, ethics, and financial literacy. The last two are critical as, historically, BiH has suffered from corruption and mismanagement. Workshop speakers are professionals from business and education from both BiH and the U.S. Jericho Foundation Scholars who learn the required skills and develop the confidence to enter the competitive job market (50% Youth unemployment).

Our graduates help bring these important skills as building blocks toward future prosperity for their country and themselves. They will become the well-rounded strategic, ethical, and compassionate industry leaders of tomorrow.

Our Leadership Seminars are an integral aspect of our scholars' personal and professional growth. These seminars are held twice a year, in the spring and fall, to ensure our scholars have access to continuous learning and development opportunities. Through these seminars, our scholars acquire new skills, knowledge, and perspectives that enable them to become influential leaders in their respective fields. Our scholars are equipped with a supportive and collaborative learning environment where they can interact with peers and experts in their field, exchange ideas, and gain invaluable insights.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

BIH STUDENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

We bring together students of all ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds for our leadership seminars. For many of our scholars, this is their first extended interaction with those of different ethnicities, as these opportunities are rarely available in a country still suffering from the cracks of segregation inflamed by the war in the ’90s.

Our students have a safe, open, and approachable space for dialogue. Scholars grow in self-awareness, gain an understanding of different cultures, reconstruct perceptions of other groups, and become empowered to promote unity in their spheres of influence, which will ultimately result in a more unified country.
